Seminar: EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) – What businesses need to know

Dear Sir/Madam,
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will officially apply from 30 December 2026 to relevant operators, imposing stringent requirements on geolocation traceability, “deforestation-free” status, and legality for approximately 80 product lines across seven commodity groups (cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, and wood). Although the direct obligations apply to operators in the EU, Vietnamese exporters are still responsible for providing EU importers with sufficient information and evidence demonstrating that their goods comply with the EUDR.
To support the business community and relevant stakeholders in gaining an accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date understanding of EUDR requirements from the exporter’s perspective, while also discussing preparation, outstanding challenges, and solutions to help businesses comply with the EUDR, VCCI is organizing the seminar: “European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) – What Businesses Need to Know.”
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Tuesday, 22 September 2026
📍 Venue: Conference Hall 1, 7th Floor, VCCI Headquarters (outer building), 9 Dao Duy Anh Street, Kim Lien Ward, Hanoi
🎁 At the seminar, VCCI will present pre-registered delegates with the publication “Q&A on the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).”
