2026 Trade and Investment Promotion Delegation to Africa

As part of activities to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and African markets, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is organizing the “2026 Trade and Investment Promotion Delegation to Africa (South Africa and Tanzania),” scheduled to take place from 30 September to 10 October 2026.

The program is organized on the occasion of the high-level delegation of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam’s visit and working trip to the Republic of South Africa and participation in the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-153) in the United Republic of Tanzania.

This is an opportunity for Vietnamese agencies, organizations and businesses to explore the market, connect directly with local partners, and identify trade and investment cooperation opportunities in South Africa and Tanzania.

BUSINESS CONNECTIONS AND DIRECT MARKET SURVEYS

According to the proposed program, the delegation will participate in a range of trade promotion and practical business connection activities in South Africa and Tanzania.

Delegates will attend the Vietnam–Tanzania Business Forum and leverage activities on the sidelines of the IPU-153 Assembly to strengthen exchanges and promote cooperation opportunities.

The program is also expected to include seminars and B2B matching sessions with trade promotion agencies, manufacturers, and local import-export enterprises.

Another notable activity is direct market surveys and working sessions with domestic wholesale and retail channels, enabling participating organizations to gain practical insights into the market and local distribution channels.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Time: 30 September – 10 October 2026 (including travel time)

Locations: South Africa and Tanzania

Sectors: Diverse sectors

Scale: 15–20 delegates, including representatives of agencies, organizations and businesses.

Participation fee: 100% self-funded; participating organizations are responsible for all expenses.
